Very disappointing

I was excited to try this knife and bought two, as we make a lot of sandwiches in our house. We have sandwich knives from a different brand that are pretty good, but I thought Zyliss was a trustworthy brand and the larger blade would be an upgrade. Not. The long, flexible blade is good for spreading butter, condiments and soft cheese but it cannot cut tomatoes, pickles or mushrooms (for a burger). So disappointed that the blade is not rigid enough to cut these items, it sways to one side and you end up with shredded slices (tomatoes and mushrooms), or ridiculously thin slices (pickles). Worse yet, I put the knife in the dishwasher, very top rack, and it came out with rust spots after the first use! Product copy says hand wash recommended but OK for dishwasher. Again, Not.

Love Britannia Kitchen and Home and have purchased many things over the years but these sandwich knives are a complete dud.
