Britannia Kitchen & Home is a Calgary institution. Located at Britannia Plaza in the city's southwest since 1955, we're one of Calgary's longest-running specialty kitchen and giftware stores — and we're still going strong.

We carry an expertly curated selection of cookware, knives, bakeware, cast iron, flatware, dishware, glassware, entertaining essentials, and unique gifts for every occasion. Our Story

What started as the local hardware store in a brand-new Calgary shopping plaza has grown into a beloved local destination for kitchenware and giftware — but the spirit hasn't changed.

Britannia Plaza opened in 1955 as one of Calgary's first suburban shopping centres, and our store was there from the beginning. Over seven decades, we've watched the neighbourhood grow up around us, welcomed generations of the same families, and adapted to the times — from the era of avocado-green appliances to cast iron revivals and Japanese chef's knives.

Through all of it, our commitment has stayed the same: find the most interesting, high-quality, and useful products for the home and bring them to Calgary shoppers who care about what they put in their kitchen and on their table.
